At roughly two hours, with only a half hour of active preparation and cooking, this peach whiskey chicken is a simple feat that will leave a delicious, lasting memory. For this you’ll need:
- 1.5 cups of Rebecca Creek whiskey
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 4 chicken legs or thighs
- 1 diced yellow onion
- 1 cup of peach preserves
- 3 thinly sliced green onions
- 4 cups of your favorite bbq sauce
- 4 peaches sliced into 8 pieces each
- freshly chopped parsley
Preheat the oven to 300° F. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the butter and olive oil. Add your pieces of chicken and cook thoroughly for five minutes, or until they’re an even golden brown. Set aside.
After you’ve cooked your chicken, add the green onions to your skillet and cook for three minutes, or until they’re nearly clear. Then carefully pour in your Rebecca Creek Whiskey and cook for roughly three minutes so the whiskey can heat and reduce.
Next, pick up your favorite bottle of BBQ sauce and add four cups into the pan. Add your peach preserves, Worcestershire sauce and half of a cup of water to your sauce, and whisk together. Once you’ve thoroughly mixed your sauce, add the golden brown chicken and sliced peaches to the pan.
Cover your skillet with the lid or some aluminum foil and roast in that preheated oven for about an hour and a half until your chicken is tender, your sauce gorgeous and rich, and your peaches are soft. Then sprinkle some parsley on your finished dish, and enjoy your romantic evening at home.

- 1.5 oz of Texas Ranger Whiskey
- 0.5 oz of Irish cream
- Your favorite root beer
Mix 1.5 ounces of your Texas Ranger Whiskey, 0.5 ounces of Irish cream, a little ice if you’d like, and finish with your favorite root beer. Then, enjoy and make another!
